Hey DEV 👋
I'm Zain. I spent years building websites for clients, and the hardest part was always the feedback. Screenshots in WhatsApp, vague emails, "the button looks off." Which button?
So my co-founder Adeen and I built LayerDock.
You open your live site in the browser, click anywhere and leave a comment on that exact spot. Each comment saves a screenshot, the device and browser, and any errors on the page. Clients just get a review link. Nothing to install.
If you use Claude Code or Cursor, you can send a comment straight to your editor with all that context attached.
We're in beta with around 50 users and there's a free plan. I'd love your honest feedback 🙂

Congrats on shipping. Client feedback on websites is painful mostly because of vagueness: "make it pop", "this section feels off". Pinning comments to the element solves the "where", which is half of it. Do you do anything for the "what exactly"? I work on chatform.in (forms that ask a follow-up when an answer is vague) and we see the same issue from the form side, so I'm curious how you're thinking about it.
