My Google Drive cloner had a working product but no real identity — so I gave it one. King Drive Cloner is now DriveZap ⚡, with a proper logo, brand colors, and a full brand kit. Same free tool, brand-new face.
Why rebrand a side project?
"King Drive Cloner" described what the tool does, but it didn't feel like a product. The favicon was a random gradient heart that had nothing to do with the app icon (a cloud with an upload arrow). The header was plain text. Every touchpoint looked like it belonged to a different project.
If I'm asking people to trust a tool with their Google Drive, it needs to look like one coherent product. So I did a proper branding pass.
Meet the new DriveZap identity
The logo: a rounded-square app icon with a violet-to-blue gradient and a white cloud + upload arrow — the exact metaphor of the product (your files, zapped between Drive accounts). There's also a mono single-color version for dark backgrounds.
The wordmark: a lightning bolt + "DriveZap" in a blue-to-cyan gradient, with a "FREE GOOGLE DRIVE CLONER" subline — the same lockup style as the site header.
The system:
- Background:
#0A0A0F(near-black) - Primary:
#6366F1(indigo) - Gradients:
#3B82F6 → #22D3EEon CTAs and the wordmark - Type: Inter for UI, JetBrains Mono for code/labels
I packaged everything — original site assets plus clean vector SVGs and PNG renders — into one brand kit zip, and wrote a one-line prompt so the whole thing can be applied to the Lovable project in one shot: new favicon, new PWA icons, new header logo, new social cards.
The tool itself (quick recap)
In case you missed the original post: DriveZap clones Google Drive folders between accounts, free forever. No signup, no install, runs entirely in your browser using Google's official OAuth and Drive API — your credentials are never stored.
What I learned
Branding a side project isn't vanity work. The moment the favicon, the header, the social card, and the app icon all matched, the product felt real — to visitors and to me. If your side project still has the default Lovable favicon, that's a 30-minute fix with outsized payoff.
Try it out: kingdrivecloner.lovable.app — and tell me what you'd name your next side project. ⚡

Do you use a simplified version at 16px, or the same app icon everywhere?
