The "scale ad spend or fix conversion first" decision usually comes down to where you sit relative to industry RPS median. Below 80% of median, scaling sessions just amplifies a bad funnel — fix CVR/AOV first. Above 120%, you have headroom to scale and the ROI math holds. The middle zone (80-120%) is where most operators get stuck because the data doesn't strongly point either way.
