I'm 13. Built a software company. 2 months. 120 downloads. The honest story.

I thought building was the hard part.

I was wrong. 2months ago

I started — Akhouri Systems — a solo software company.

Just me, my laptop, and a deadline from my father.

2 years. 1 lakh revenue. 10k downloads. Or hostel.

Here’s what actually happened: I built 4 Windows apps completely solo: 🔒 ATLOCK — kills Task Manager, blocks Alt+Tab

📝 ANOTE — everything Notepad should have been

🧮 ACALCU — 30+ themes, video button backgrounds

🖼 APIC — advanced image processing

Then I spent 2months trying to get people to notice. I posted on every platform. Dev.to. Peerlist. Medium. Product Hunt. Hacker News. Reddit banned me 3 times. YouTube Shorts got 2 views after 9 hours of editing. 120 downloads. In 2months. One of them was me. I’m not writing this for sympathy.

I’m writing this because nobody tells you how hard distribution actually is. Building is the easy part. Getting people to care — that’s the real challenge. But here’s what 120 downloads taught me: 120 real strangers trusted my software enough to download it. Without knowing me. Without any recommendation. That’s 120 people who gave me a chance.

I’m still here.

Akhouri Systems is still alive.(struggling but still always ready to dominate and change the window's default apps)

"We build what others forgot to fix."
Akhouri Systems believes that success is not about gaining money, respect and power it is about doing something which is not done by others because other fears they will fail.
I may feel demotivated after seeing akhouri systems not reaching full potiential but in same time I will feel motivated because I done something which is feared by others to even try.

"Akhouri Systems is not just about a software
manufacturer built by a kid. It is now about
a word called EGO.

I will either make Akhouri Systems the world's
biggest software manufacturer and direct competitor
of Microsoft's Windows default apps — or make this
company a legend in the software field.

If I fail — which many say is the most likely outcome,
especially when I stand alone with no support — then
I will still make sure Akhouri Systems reaches a level
where Microsoft recognizes us and takes inspiration
from our apps to build theirs better.

Because if they don't — maybe one Akhouri Systems
failed. But another will rise."
