Hey Dev Community! π
I'm super excited to introduce portfolio.dev β a platform built for developers π¨βπ», designers π¨, and product managers π to showcase their work in a clean, visual, and meaningful way.
π― The Problem
Letβs be honest β thereβs no great way to show off your work as a dev / engineer or builder:
- GitHub is just code. π¨βπ»
- LinkedIn is too text-heavy. π
- Dribbble/Behance? Mostly for visual design. π¨
But what about those of us who want to share projects, explain our thinking, and present our work with context?
Thatβs why I built portfolio.dev β to fill that gap.
π‘ What It Does
portfolio.dev is a simple, beautiful platform that helps you:
- π Get a professional portfolio URL:
portfolio.dev/u/yourname
- π Add multiple projects with screenshots, context, and thought process
- π§ Share not just what you built, but why you built it and how it works
- π (Pro) Unlock advanced analytics & unlimited project slots
- π¬ Use it on your rΓ©sumΓ©, LinkedIn, or anywhere else clients and hiring managers look
π Who Itβs For
Whether you're just getting started or you're a seasoned pro:
- β Developers who want to go beyond code
- β Designers who want a structured, case-study style layout
- β PMs & freelancers who want to explain their impact
πΈ Pricing
- π Free forever for a simple, beautiful portfolio
- π Pro: $5/month or $50/year (US payments only for now) β Includes unlimited projects, analytics, and priority support
π Try It Out & Share Feedback!
π Check it out here
This is just the beginning. Iβd love your thoughts:
- What features would help you showcase your work better?
- What's confusing or missing?
- Would this help you stand out in a sea of GitHub links?
Thanks for reading β and for supporting indie dev tools π

Clean and Fast UI. one question.
How does these two differ?
also commas can't be removed and last comma makes an empty badge.
Yeah, thereβs definitely some overlap β it really depends on how you used the tool or tech in the project! I separate things a bit just to give people flexibility: βtechnologiesβ is a broader term that could apply to anything powering the project, while βengineering tools,β βdesign tools,β and βPM toolsβ highlight specific roles or workflows. But ultimately, use what feels right for your role in the project.
I will also take note that the last comma makes an empty badge! Thanks.
Love that you're tackling this! Would be cool if it also let me embed live demos right alongside the project breakdowns - any plans for that?
Thatβs the intention! If your project includes a hosted web app or site, viewers can check out the live demo directly.
