JavaScript probably has the best bet at being a useful weekly thread.

Hmmmm.
A not bad idea, but the only reason I haven't tried such a thing is because I know it probably wouldn't get as many views. (Not like the posts were getting much traction to begin with. - As @ben said, other languages might hit a gold-vein.)
Let's say someone hasn't touched Ruby since ~2011, is there a solid starting point for coming back into the fold in terms of ecosystem?
Im learning Ruby! I created a whole study plan but finding it so hard to find time to study with work. I need to do better with sticking with my study schedule
