The Repair Shop Nightmare
Two weeks ago, I handed over my laptop to Apple's service center. You know that feeling when you trust a "genius" with your digital lifeline? Yeah, that was my first mistake.
Fast forward to today: went to give it again cus last time they did some temporary fixation
The Silver Lining Nobody Talks About
Here's the weird part - I'm not even mad anymore. Maybe this forced digital detox is exactly what I needed.
Building in the Void
While laptop-less, I've been thinking about my project Mutiny. I poured hours into that frontend, crafted every detail, deployed it perfectly. Posted it everywhere.
Result: Digital crickets. 🦗
Sometimes you build something you're genuinely proud of and the internet just... doesn't notice. It's humbling and frustrating in equal measure.

Unexpected Character Development
Today I had this micro-moment that felt significant. At the mall, I picked up this pen with an amazing design. Totally unnecessary, but aesthetically perfect.
Then something clicked: "This is exactly the kind of stuff I waste money on."
But the real kicker? For the first time, I thought about whose money I was actually spending. My parents'. And I put it back.
A year ago, I wouldn't have thought twice. Would've bought it plus three other random impulse purchases.
The Week Ahead: Analog Life
No laptop means:
- More sleep (revolutionary concept)
- More gym time (my body will thank me)
- Building actual habits instead of digital ones
Sometimes technology breaking down forces better priorities.
The Real Lesson
Maybe the Apple service center did me a favor. Not intentionally (they're still incompetent), but accidentally.
When your digital tools fail, you're forced to remember there's a whole analog world waiting. One where financial discipline happens in real-time, where you lift actual weights instead of just scrolling, where sleep happens without screens glowing in your face.
Not saying I'm grateful for terrible service. But I'm curious about who I'll be after a week of forced disconnection.
Sometimes the best debugging happens when you step away from the code.

Congratulations to the Apple center, it seems they gave you a vacation along with fixing your laptop... 🙃 Sounds nice, which service center did you actually take it to???...🙃 I think I’d deserve a longer break too. 😂😂😂
Jokes aside, unfortunately I think everyone’s been through this with service centers, what’s supposed to be 2-3 days of repairs suddenly turns into 2 weeks....
And yes, when you stay away from code and take longer breaks, it really helps you come back with a clear mind, refreshed, and maybe even with more ways to solve the problems you’re facing.🙃Keep going!
My laptop is gonna be back today so let's see, wish to get my productivity back as without productivity my day doesn't feel good
