I’ve been thinking about sharing some electronic circuit posts on Dev.to — small circuits, DIY builds, and hardware experiments. Dev.to is primarily a software‑focused space, and I respect that. It’s one of the few platforms where I don’t feel out of place, so I want to make sure I’m not crossing any lines or disrupting the community’s purpose.
Before I start posting anything, I want to understand how the community views hardware content. I’m not trying to chase attention or bend the rules. I just don’t want to accidentally post something that feels off‑topic, unwelcome, or out of step with what Dev.to is meant for.
So I’m asking the community:
Is it appropriate to share circuit‑related posts here, or is that considered outside the scope of Dev.to?
I’m not looking for special treatment — just clarity. If hardware content is fine, I’ll keep it thoughtful and If it’s not a good fit, I’d rather know before I post anything.
I appreciate any guidance from people who’ve been part of Dev.to longer than I have.
Thanks a ton for all the support
