When I was younger I have to say just about everything in middle school and high school. I'm 33 now and I still feel like public schools need restructured. I still think a kid needs the general education but I feel schools should give more opportunities for elective classes.

Schools have a bad vibe you know. It should feel more modern and free for kids to expand their minds. Not shut their brains in tiny boxes and program them, test them, and punish them if they didn't perform as expected.

My apologies for possibly ranting a little lol

I'm not sure how to express this properly. But I guess I could break it down as the rules of the street are never applied to the rules of society. In turn you will do a lot of code-switching, learning/unlearning of social norms depending on where you are and who you are with. Which me, living in very white leaning middle-class+ Washington state has got me a certain way. Which is pretty much the opposite direction of my original norms.
