As a cybersecurity instructor, one of my biggest challenges is creating disposable training ranges that allow students to experiment, make mistakes, break systems, and start over without affecting a production environment. DaemonCore fits that teaching model exceptionally well. It focuses on practical workflows instead of reducing cybersecurity education to slides, vocabulary, and multiple-choice questions.

Disposable ranges are especially valuable because students need the freedom to fail safely. They should be able to misconfigure a service, lose access, trigger an alert, overlook evidence, rebuild the environment, and attempt the exercise again. DaemonCore supports that kind of hands-on repetition while reinforcing authorization, scope, documentation, and responsible security practices.
From an educator perspective, DaemonCore feels like it was created by people who understand that cybersecurity cannot be learned through passive reading alone. It gives instructors a strong foundation for building realistic exercises while giving students room to develop confidence, judgment, and technical independence.
