Happy Friday, friends! š Follow Friday is your weekly opportunity to shout out fellow DEV Community members doing awesome work. Check out the comments and follow someone new!
Go (also known as Golang) is an open source programming language that was designed at Google in 2009. It's a fast, statically typed, compiled language that feels like a dynamically typed, interpreted language ā and its users love it for its expressive, concise, clean, and efficient syntax.
Plus, the language boasts one of the best mascots out there (sorry to Ferris the Crab).
So, devs: who are your favorite DEV community members writing about Go?
Formatting tip: to populate a card with a follow button, use the liquid tag syntax {% embed https://... %}
and insert the URL of your favorite author's profile.
Join in on the #FollowFriday fun by @mentioning your favorite author to follow for Golang content (and letting us know why you love their posts!) ā¤µļø

A great variation of posts on Go
Thank you!!
I like many things about go. Excelent tooling, really fast compile times, easy to learn etc. But I really dislike the mascot. There is something unerving about gopher that makes me uneasy. š
Ferris all the way!
I think @melvin2016 provides a good golang resources and should be followed
