By encouraging more people to make their websites green β™»πŸŒ³β™»:

We need more devs that know these "secrets" for their new and future developments. Even solutions like Wix should consider them.

I have been celebrating by reconnecting with an old friend who is really involved in sustainability and green energy at the government level.

My buddy is named Stuart Powell, and he's one of my best friends from growing up. Cool side fact β€” his brother Gray was the dude who accidentally lost the iPhone prototype at a bar.

In any case, Stu is working on a lotta really cool stuff and I'm trying to figure out how I can get involved. Who knows, maybe there is something this community of developers can do... I know that's vague, but if anyone here is interested lemme know and I'll keep ya in the loop!

Following up on behalf of Stu, he asked if I could help promote an eco-conscious/pro-green community he has been involved in creating. Here's what he had to say about it:

Active civic engagement is one of the biggest levers we have to implement systems-level solutions to the climate emergency. Yet only 1% of Americans engage in the policymaking process. The government often seems big and complicated, icky, or outside of our control.

Climate Changemakers provides a clear roadmap for you to take action, advocate for bold, science-based, equitable climate solutions, then get on with your week. Whether you’re new to political action (so is +60% of their community!) or a seasoned advocate, you’re in the right place. You have more influence than you realize.
