I've been developing professionally for some years already, but I've never been much of a writer. I'm working on that right now.
I've been a fullstack web-developer most of this time, but recently moved on to mobile development.

I want to become a full stack web developer someday. Currently I'm learning html, css and javascript.
You have plenty of options to learn Backend while using JavaScript.
This makes the learning curve easier, and then you can move on to other backend technologies - or keep using JS and specialize in NodeJS
