Welcome!

I have a special interest in exactly the kind of work that you're passionate about. "Practical, scalable solutions across full-stack development, automation, trading systems, and AI/ML." ...I'm only a year into the world of software development, but everything you're sharing is right in line with what I would love to engage with more and more in the future.

I look forward to seeing more from you. I'm also bookmarking MatrixTrak.com to peruse through in the future. :)

Hey everyone, I'm Relyful and I'm life long computer / technology enthusiast. I am currently on path of career change from RMA technician to developer. I've been self-learning about web development for past 2 years, from javascript basics to React, express, SQL and more.
I've found a lot of helpful articles on here so I decided it is my time to join you here!
Looking forward to getting to know some of y'all! See you around!

Hi, I am David. Just joined the Dev community and looks like a city of people in here. I am a semi-retired mechanical engineer who during covid took a deep dive into learning python and nodejs. I started a project and applied the lessons learned to develop this project into a cognitive software that I am planning to commercialize on the web. Looking forward to meet the creative people of this community. Cheers.

Welcome, David!

I'm resonating with your experience coming from a different engineering field into software engineering.

I got my degree in aerospace engineering and then did nuclear engineering with the military. It's interesting to reflect on how different the different engineering fields are, but also what the common threads are that connect them. I wonder what your reflections are on what transfers from mechanical engineering to software engineering.

Cheers!

Hi everyone!
I'm a full-stack developer passionate about web technologies and AI. I'm currently diving deeper into machine learning and experimenting with building AI-powered automation. I joined dev.to to learn from the community, share my experiences, and stay up-to-date with the latest in tech. Looking forward to connecting with you all! 😊

Fun fact: I got into coding because I wanted to automate my homework. Now I just automate everything.

Hello everyone! I'm new here and want to introduce myself. I work in the construction industry and have a lot to do with IT. In Germany, the data exchange of offers, service specifications etc. is mainly done via so-called gaeb files. My private love is linux. And a big misery is that there is virtually no software for gaeb processing under linux. That's why I've finally started to really learn java to change that ... let's see what comes out ;-)

Hi Klaus,
Just saw your introduction, now getting information on GAEB. I appreciate your effort and hope for your success in your expected GAEB processing engine for the Linux environment.

Thanks for the encouragement, yes it is really time that something is done in this direction, GAEB is a very useful but also simple format. It is a pity that there is a lack here under linux!

Hello everyone! I am Joe, I have been coding for a while and I am new to dev.to. I've seen a few posts here and there and I finally decided to go ahead and join!

Here's a little about me (I decided to make it a little fun :))

function introduction() {
 const developer = {
   name: 'Joseph Altig',
   role: 'Full Stack Developer',
   expertise: ['Web', 'DevOps', 'Cloud'],
   passion: 'Building scalable solutions'
   years: '10+'
 };

 return developer;

Hello there, Joe! That was a cool introduction 🙂 I am into Python and game development (for the most part) and not much into JS 😁

We are lucky to have you and I hope you will enjoy it here!
