Giving myself a mental reset. My boss and his boss were both fired on Tuesday morning quite unexpectedly. On the home front, I took a step back from coding and working on my education, and just let myself relax for a the week. TV, reading, and the gym. Just letting myself let go of everything.
It's been good. My stress levels are lower than they were before this all went down. So Saturday, I'm going to go ahead and dig back in to my personal project and my coursework.
Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. It sounds like a challenging time.
That said, nicely handled and way to keep things into perspective β good on ya for keeping the stress levels despite things being rocky. I hope everything smooths out at work. Or, if you find that it's time to move on to somewhere else, that you are able to make that happen with ease. Digging into the personal project and coursework sounds like good stuff.
