I joined Upwork and landed my first gig! π
Nice!!
That's great. It's not an everyday thing; you must feel more confident π.
Thanks! I put good effort into creating my profile. Granted, I realize that I have no reputation on the platform, so I'm not negotiating on this one. Hoping this will put me on the map.
Wow! Just like that? You have to give us the follow up... Kudos!!
Thanks! We had a couple of calls to meet and discuss the project, and I started working on it last weekend (I have a full-time job so I'm using my free time for this). The contract has been confirmed through Upwork, though I haven't finished verifying my identity on the platform. I'll need to do that before the end of the project. It's a pain to be honest. Being from Tunisia, I haven't had the best experience with automated identity verification systems.
Win for this week would be completing my office tasks on thursday, so my Friday was relaxing, successfully started working on the Docs of a Tool I am developing.
I found the bug that was preventing my setup of Umami from identifying the country, region and city of my website visitors:
github.com/umami-software/umami/pu...
Learned about vue events and handling them.
Got started with wasm-pack (rust).
I like this post the most :) because, fortunately I made a json formatter tool. Which I would like to share with others for feedback. Is it allow to share a link here? I'm new so not sure about the rules
Hell yeah, Fridays always make me look back and realize I got way more done than I thought
