Timeless DEV post...
The most used technology by developers is not Javascript.
It's not Python or HTML.
It hardly even gets mentioned in interviews or listed as a pre-requisite for jobs.
I'm talking about Git and version control of course.

I write free and paid articles for various companies.
That's great, how did you get opportunity to write paid articles ?
I was just writing lots of articles and publishing them on DEV, Hashnode and Medium. Also I was sharing the content on Twitter and LinkedIn. So thats quite a lot of platforms for my content to get noticed.
And then I was getting messages and emails from various companies who were telling me that they had seen and read some of my articles and thought they were great. And suggested a collaboration or guest writer appearance. So these companies contacted me I am yet to reach out to any companies regarding writing roles 😅
I write my blog posts for enjoyment. I add affiliate links to some posts, which brings in a little each month.
I am wrting for C# Corner, So I don't have rights to monetize . But they given me an award last year.
Noticed an odd trend recently of people referring to "blog posts" as "blogs"... why is this?
Does blog posts & blogs has a difference ?
Well, 'blog' comes from 'web log', and a log has 'entries'. An 'entry' in a 'blog' is usually referred to as a 'post'.
'Blogs' - is just the plural of 'Blog', which in turn is a container for blog posts
