Welcome to DEV. The challenges are listed on the DEV challenges page (dev.to/challenges), and each one has its own page with the rules, the prompt, and the deadline. The usual flow is to read the rules, build or write something that fits the prompt, and publish a post using the challenge's tag and template. Tell us which event you mean and someone can point you to its exact page.
