Don't really like how CEOs are acting like AI is the solution for everything, it certainly is not!
Was watching this video today:
People need to realize: the reality of AI and the promise of AI - are two completely different things!
Treat AI like any other technology:
Act upon the reality, not the promise!
But people are fighting back, that's a good thing.
Hope we'll reach an equilibrium point soon!
My notes:
- Don't let companies force you to use AI if it doesn't help your career in the long run.
Your company is simply using you as a Human Tool to train your AI Overlords that'll eventually replace you? - Fight back!
- Gain and retain your knowledge and skills by doing (coding, designing, writing, reading etc.) yourself.
Use AI only if it doesn't violate the above two points!
Foundational human knowledge is not replaceable.
