Daily UX Writing Challenge Day 5

Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3 | Day 4

Challenge: Write a message that the user will read immediately upon opening the app. What do they need to know? What steps (if any) do they need to take to recover their content? What if they can't recover the content?

For this one, I made a few assumptions. 1, the app has an auto save function (if it doesn't then that's bad UX - autosave should be built into everything with the ability to turn it off). 2, that the app detected it as crashing when the phone turned off.

To help relieve the 'fear of loss' feeling the user might be feeling, I went for a short direct message to the user explaining what happened and letting them know that they can recover their work easily.
