Hi, everyone! My name is Gracie Gregory and I'll be taking over the weekly retros! On that note...

Responding to myself here! My wins for the week were starting a new job that speaks to my passions and starting to get up to speed at a new company! AND remembering to stretch ☮
Huge congratulations to you!!✌✌
Myself and a friend replaced 125ft last weekend and finished cleaning up this week. We had to remove the old wood post by hand and redug all the holes by hand. For longevity we used steel post and screwed the pickets in instead of nailing them. I haven't been this sore in ages.
Next up... Side 2 of 3.
P.s. the fence looks like it's leaning but the ground is actually super uneven and local code dictates we don't modify the grade at all. This is about half the fence. Wasn't sure how to get a panorama to look decent in the post.
👏👏👏👏
Not sure if it is a win, but it is an auspicious beginning.
I have just bought a very short domain name polv.cc. Actually, a shorter version of the old one. Planned to stuff everything into the subdomain, including something like URL-shortener.
Wow! I also got a domain name of my dreams: Clajj.com
Sent out the first issue of my newsletter!
Nice!
I made apple pie and didn't burn it!
So excited that you're on the team!!!!!
My win this week was releasing another episode of DevDiscuss, alongside @maestromac , @ben , and @sophiedebenedetto :
This was last week's win, but my wife and I got a dog!!
Her name is Cora and is a 7-year-old, retired racing greyhound. While she definitely gets the zoomies from time to time, she mostly sleeps all day.
We're loving this lazy dog!
Dogs 😍❤
Cora is so cute!! And you and Caitlyn look so happy :)
Awww
Congratulations!! Cora looks like such a sweet girl
My win for the week was that i found dev.to and have contributed a small piece and am finally part of a community which is a big step for me and i finished two projects on codecademy today! Now i am done for the day! That is my win!
Making it to friday alive. Had a stress-related BP peak yesterday. One would think you would be safe from burnout while working from home... guess you're not.
In these times, making it through the week with your mental health top of mind is definitely something to celebrate! There is a lot to adapt to right now. I hope you get some time to take care of yourself/get a breather this weekend, Manuel! Happy Friday 😌
I got my first issue on my first open source project! I was so happy when I got the message "Your lib is useful but is missing something!" -"Ay! I will help!!" 😄
Congrats!!
Hey! I’ve:
Yeah, wild week!
Have a nice weekend, guys! 💪🏽
June 20 !!👍
All the best dude
Thank you very much, Shakti! Wish you the same!
Submitted my dissertation! Unfortunately I have 3 exams this week so haven't had time to take part in GitHub + Dev graduation :-( But! I'll still write a blog post on it regardless of whether or not I'll get free swag :)))

It's small, but it's a step into starting to write and document my work more.
Congratulations :D And best of luck with the hackathon!
Thanks :)
Realizing Friday night that I have an important meeting Saturday and did absolutely nothing in preparation, then spending the whole of Friday evening implementing what needed to be implemented and doing a great job. Kinda bittersweet but still a win in my book. 😂
Just in the nick of time! Totally been there. A win for SURE! 😅
Seems to be a normal every Friday occurence 😂
I had a really great week. I created a custom form field for a Sitefinity form integration, which integrated Google's reCAPTCHA to validate the forms.
I got commended for my timely work, work ethic, and determination to help other departments.
And I found a fix for an issue for Sitefinity for our internal sites, where the Lato font doesn't render   correctly.
Optimized my website and improved the performance! It's lightning fast now! ⚡⚡
(The image below shows the performance report of my website vishnubaliga.com by Google lighthouse.)
Ah!! Great... Minimum but full of information !! Clean & smooth !!😇😇
My win for this week is I've published a post about live code editing in docusaurus and published the link on official docs as well.
This is my 100th comment on DEV. Win!
Love it!!
It was my first full week as tech lead of a new team with all mid-senior level folks.
I... didn’t screw it up. Useful things were built, compromises with other teams were made, I remembered to delegate and teach instead of just doing.
I finally finished the first stage of a Face Recognition app I've been putting off for months and wrote a blog post about the process behind building it :D
Building an Open Source Realtime Face Recognition Android App : Stage 1

Finally i made a node module to auto generate templets, literary you just have to type startproject in terminal
and a folder is generated with initial bit of coding and all the linking pre done 🤓
I'm got an order on freelance at the end of the week :)
My win this week was keeping my promise to myself and taking time out of each day, no matter how seemingly busy, to meditate 🙌🏻
That is so important to remember right now. We all have to stay strong during these trying times.
I drew a dog.
i made a new website in this week <3
my win for the week was doing my first assignment for my bootcamp on Sublime text editor 3, which i was freakishly afraid of last week and have now figured it out and got comfortable with it! A definite win to get over my fears!
My win was my first deploy using heroku. Don't know if I will stick to this service but first impressions are very good for someone who before worked on Apache 😂
I just completed my Dart tutorial from YouTube.
Now I am going to learn flutter, it's UI/UX is lit🔥
Hope, people of this community also crack their goals at weekend!!
Keep Hustling ✌️ guys!!
I started a public project, from Idea to Launch in 1 week.
I tweet about my steps every day: twitter.com/miku86com/status/12622...
Porting more than 60% of a spaghetti code base to a new, well-organized project. One more week to go!!
Deployed my first node api in a serverless function.
It handles all CORS, API keys stuff, validation.... Much easier than I thought 😊
My win this is I learnt gulpjs, and nodejs
Made it through till Eid holiday! This is my first proper time off since September so I'm really hoping to wind down.
Hope you enjoyed your time winding down!! Sounds like it's extremely well-deserved
Hi Gracie, I finally posted my first programming related tutorial today! Felt like a win : )
So awesome!
My win for this week was starting my own small business in drop shipping!
