Praveen is right! Those are some great resources to get you started. KhanAcademy has some great stuff, too, if you want to explore. Their coding is limited, but they have some great intros if you want to learn about fields outside of development. They cover design, theory, graphics, and even some videography last I checked.
Have you asked anybody to see if your school offers anything? In this case, your guidance counselor is going to be a great resource (and you'll more likely than not make their day just stopping by to ask the question!).
Even if your school doesn't offer any tech classes, the guidance counselor will be the expert who knows where to look and who to call for help in your area. Sometimes there's great partnerships available with nearby places that you'd never know about unless you ask. Local community colleges, other school swaps, specialized groups or clubs, or even the library will have resources available to you low cost or free. Especially during the summer.
Hey, it is awesome that you are eager to learn! I am happy to share some great resources to help you get started:
freeCodeCamp - Free coding lessons from basics to advanced
Codecademy - Interactive tutorials for many languages
MDN Web Docs - Perfect for learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
CSS Tricks - Helpful tips and tutorials, especially for CSS design and layout
YouTube channels - Traversy Media and The Net Ninja are great for beginner-friendly coding projects
Feel free to ask if you want resources on specific topics like web development or programming languages. Keep your curiosity alive, it is the best way to grow!
Love seeing this kind of drive at your age! Mentorship helped me a ton, is there a tech area you're most curious about right now?
Respect for reaching out like this, takes guts putting yourself out there. you ever think about what kind of qualities you want in a mentor besides just having tech skills
