About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our growing team. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to build new features, troubleshoot issues, and improve our applications.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has a solid programming foundation, enjoys learning, and wants to gain hands-on experience working on real-world software products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend application features.
• Write clean, readable, and well-tested code.
• Build and integrate REST APIs.
• Identify and fix bugs.
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
• Work with databases and third-party services.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product team members.
• Learn new technologies and apply feedback from senior engineers.
• Document technical changes and development processes.

Required Qualifications

• Zero to two years of professional software development experience.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with at least one modern framework, such as React, Next.js, Node.js, FastAPI, or Spring Boot.
• Understanding of REST APIs, Git, and relational databases.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience gained through internships, freelance work, boot camps, or personal projects.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Basic knowledge of AWS or another cloud platform.
• Exposure to automated testing and CI/CD.
• A GitHub profile or project portfolio demonstrating coding ability.
