People will use it to land jobs w/out doing any work.
But first the difference between ChatGPT and AutoGPT.
ChatGPT needs a human to feed it prompts to get to an end result.
(Ex. “Create a cover letter for me based on [x] job…”)
You might continue to refine the results ChatGPT gave you by feeding it more prompts.
What is Auto GPT
Auto-GPT is an experimental open-source application showcasing the capabilities of the GPT-4 language model. This program, driven by GPT-4, chains together LLM "thoughts", to autonomously achieve whatever goal you set. As one of the first examples of GPT-4 running fully autonomously, Auto-GPT pushes the boundaries of what is possible with AI.
Who made Auto-GPT?
Auto-GPT was posted on GitHub on March 30, 2023 by developer Significant Gravitas. However, the application is driven by GPT-4 which is OpenAI's latest and most advanced AI model.
AutoGPT (as the name suggests) does all the prompting for you automatically.

You just tell it the end result you want and it goes to work on your behalf to accomplish that outcome.
What that could mean for the job search.
You tell AutoGPT:
“I want to find a job as a Product Manager for SaaS products for top companies in the tech industry making at least a $150K base.”
Without lifting a finger, AutoGPT will:
-Scour employee review sites/ company rankings
-Identify the best companies
-Scan for open jobs at those companies
-See which ones pay at least $150K
-Look for who you know at those companies
-And people you don’t know you should talk to
-Send them a personalized note to land a coffee chat/referral
-Send follow ups if they don’t respond
-Coordinate a time to meet and schedule it
-Apply to jobs where you’re a match
-Fill in all the fields for you
-Attach a highly customized resume
-Cover letter too if required
-Send a personalized note to the recruiter who posted the job to let them know you applied
-Follow up on your application status if you haven’t heard back
This process will continuously run behind the scenes while you go about your day.
You’ll only need to get involved once you have a coffee chat or interview.
AutoGPT will also send you detailed notes on the person, company, etc. before each meeting to help you prep.
While this process doesn’t exist today, the capacity to built it does.
And I predict it will be something we see in the near future.

GPT is great
What email account is it using to write emails to strangers? How does it know all my data for job application? Am I ask before those external actions are taken so I can edit or cancel those mails?
AutoGPT uses the email account that you provide to it, and it is not able to access your personal data without your permission. You would need to give AutoGPT access to your job search data, such as your job preferences and resume, in order for it to be able to use that information to search for jobs on your behalf. As for editing or canceling emails, AutoGPT would likely give you the option to review and approve any emails before they are sent, so you can make any necessary changes or cancel them altogether. However, it's important to note that AutoGPT is still an experimental technology, so the specifics of how it will function in practice may vary.
1st one is voice mimic. I don't know if it should be called AI. to be more detailed or delicate, it takes a lot more to just mimic a voice. Of course I won't tell you.
2nd one is a tabloid maker. I don't know if it should be a called an AI.
