Hey friends ๐
Yes, this happened. Even though I've joined DEV on Aug 7, 2018, Iโve only been writing on DEV for a total of maybe 9.5 months. Iโve written a total of 12 posts (including this one). There are many more in my drafts page, waiting to be revisited and hoping to see the light one day. My Postwoman project is one of the reasons why I was able to accomplish this figure.
This post is dedicated to my first ever #AskMeAnything. You can ask me anything in comment box and I'll answer them.
"Pay your rent from open source ๐ธ" is my favorite article I wrote so far.

Here's some of the major takeaways I found while writing:
- Keep it under 4 minutes long
- Donโt be too descriptive (people like to skim)
- List form articles do best
- Develop click-bait headings
- Comment on interested and relevant articles
- You have to engage and you have to do it more than others to grow faster
- Respond to every comment you receive
Keep these points in mind and youโll be developing the perfect content for DEV.

What have you learned about open source since launching Postwoman?
Hi Ben,
Here's some of the things I realized lately regarding open source:
Last week Postwoman crossed $500+ in purely donations ๐
There's lot more to convey, I'll prolly write a post on this in upcoming weeks.
Would love to read this article!

Congratulations !! how to become full-stack dev from a beginner ?
Start by making / copying and editing small projects. Follow tutorials and contribute to open source projects. Repos like github.com/danistefanovic/build-yo... helped me a lot.
One of the most misunderstood word in tech is "Full-stack". Be sure what you really want. This Dev post will be a start: dev.to/ajascha/becoming-a-full-sta...
thank you โฅ
Congrats on the 10k! It's been super inspiring to see all the cool ideas and things you've created - crazy to see Postwoman approaching 20k stars already ๐
Thank you for all the support ๐โจ

What type of articles do you most like seeing on DEV? Which do you least like seeing?
I like new tutorials, pro-tips, articles on devs both professional and personal life, success and failure stories etc.
I don't like repeated and similar tutorials (I wish there's a "duplicate of" button like stackoverflow on DEV)
I'm a beginner. I find it hard to code my ideas. What can I do?
Thank You.
There are a 100+ ways to turn your idea into a product. If you find difficulties in coding you can go with no-code solutions. "No code" have gained quite a traction over the past few months and will be staying for a while. The current state of No code allows you to create a full-stack application within minutes with little or no technical knowledge.
I strongly recommend this.
I stan so much ๐ญโจ โจ โจ โจ

10,000 is a great achievement.

P.S. postwoman.io is an amazing thing you built.
