50 Amazing DEV people to follow on Twitter

madza profile image Madza ・2 min read

Twitter, like other social media, brings like-minded people together.
Here I have compiled a list of 50 awesome people to follow in tech-Twitter.

I'm looking for some additional input, too!
What would YOU recommend to follow?

am aware of Emma Bostian and I recognise Lynn Fisher from a creative website roundup.

Who is everyone else?

As I am on mobile, going through each one without more specific context is, well, daunting.

For example, personally I have no real interest for CSS art or say, cybersecurity, and would skip any focused primarily on this.

Nevertheless, you have compiled a long list here, there is bound to be some gems hidden.

Thanks :)

I also think that more context is actually necessary :)

Hope you will find something for your taste as well πŸ˜‰

I think any list like this would be improved by flagging or excluding people from DEV who we'll see anyway, and with a simple line or two explaining what it is that makes them interesting to you. If I click through and discover someone's latest 20 tweets are about their new puppy it might be fun, but unrelated to anything developy.

Good point πŸ‘ Tbh, my initial thought was to include some lines on content posted or even include the header with description what each profile is about, tho I ended up thinking it might be too much of a stalker material πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ So I just included the links of my personal favs and left the evaluation part for each reader in their side πŸ˜‰
But I will keep this in mind when creating some new posts with lists on different topics in future πŸ˜‰

I'm surprised SwiftOnSecurity isn't there ( already big enough?). Great and entertaining tweets about infosec / windows / corn facts!

edit: Oh, the title says it's about DEV people

Oh I didn't notice it was about people from here!

Thanks for the addition! πŸ‘

These are not really developers, but I couldn't help but share these lists:

Thank you for including me in this incredible list with some really amazing people!

The number of people you have helped and your own path to success are probably the most inspiring things I've come across in my own journey in web dev πŸ™β€
