These are the top-paying job titles you should be shooting for if you want to make six figures in the tech world, as reported by the developers and administrators working in the industry.

Senior roles like executives and engineering managers tend to have the highest salaries.

But in the United States, Germany, United Kingdom, and Canada we see that Blockchain developers have comparable salaries even though they have the lowest average years of experience.

1. Senior Executive

Senior executives are typically responsible for managing individual departments or divisions within their company and ensuring that they are in alignment with corporate strategies and plans for growth. 2. Engineering manager

3. Site Reliability Engineer

A site reliability engineer (SRE) creates a bridge between development and IT operations by taking on the tasks typically done by operations. Instead, such tasks are given to these types of engineers who use automation tools to solve problems by creating scalable and reliable software systems.

Salary: $95,979 USD

4. Security Professional

The security profession consists of security executives, managers, supervisors and their staff—the people within the organization who are charged with the protection of assets against security risks. That responsibility is delegated to security professionals by the owners and senior executives of the business.

5. Cloud infrastructure engineer

A cloud engineer is an IT professional that builds and maintains cloud infrastructure. Cloud engineers can have more specific roles that include cloud architecting (designing cloud solutions for organizations), development (coding for the cloud), and administration (working with cloud networks).

6. Blockchain Developer

Blockchain software developers build applications onto existing blockchain platforms. They handle front-end and back-end development, design, and maintenance.

7. Data Engineer

8. DevOps specialist

9. Product manager

A product manager is the person who identifies the customer need and the larger business objectives that a product or feature will fulfill, articulates what success looks like for a product, and rallies a team to turn that vision into a reality.

10. Data scientist or machine learning specialist

Data Scientist: In simple terms, a data scientist’s job is to analyze data for actionable insights. Specific tasks include: Identifying the data-analytics problems that offer the greatest opportunities to the organization. Determining the correct data sets and variables.

Machine Learning specialist: Machine Learning Specialist is a professional specialized in developing Machine learning, a branch of computer science that focuses on developing algorithms which can “learn” from or adapt to the data and make predictions.
