Hi everyone! This is my first Google Chrome extension, called YNO - a minimalist Yes/No to-do list. I’ve kept it stored locally on my computer for a long time; after a year, I finally decided to publish it. I’m a little nervous, since I’ve never done anything like this before-it’s my first time. If you have any comments or suggestions, I’d love to hear them.
Since I have ADHD myself, visual cues are essential to me. That’s why I added a touch of color to the interface instead of keeping it completely plain. I'm not sure if it will work for everyone, but I really hope this approach could be useful for developers too. Knowing that my tool helps someone manage their tasks better would be the best motivation for me to keep going.
Features:
- There’s a focus timer up to 2 hours
- Up to 3 reminders per task, only for today
- Archive
- Tags
- Calendar
- Sound notification when a task is completed
- Deadline (visual deadline tracker)
- Dark theme
- System theme
- Local storage (Export/Import) 100% offline and private
I try to release updates whenever possible and fix bugs, of which there were quite a few. The app is currently localized into 11 languages;
- English
- Spanish
- German
- French
- Italian
- Portuguese (Brazil)
- Turkish
- Japanese
- Korean
- Hindi (Hinglish)
- Russian
I haven’t been able to handle more yet, but I’ll definitely consider adding support for even more countries in the future to make it easier for people to use the app.
I create this for my own enjoyment and for people’s convenience. Perhaps someone will find this extension useful, and it will help you manage your tasks. Thank you for your attention!
