Trying to decide which Star Wars to watch tonight...

So, it's may the fourth, and you know what that means...

Tonight, I'm gonna celebrate by watching some Star Wars! I've already exhausted The Baby Yoda Show (aka The Mandalorian) ... though I wouldn't be surprised if I pop it on again tonight. I also still got a bit of gaming to do in Jedi Fallen Order, which I think is a seriously excellent Star Wars game.

Anyway, just nerding out a bit!

Are you celebrating May the 4th in any way? Got any suggestions for a Star War movie to watch tonight? Any goofy Star Wars GIFs you wanna share?

Yoda Hacky sack

May the 4th be with you!

You mean there are people who haven't spent the entire weekend watching Episode 1 - 3, Rogue One, and Episode 4 - 9 to prepare to end today? XD

The best watching order is episode 4, 5, 6, 2, 3 😄

I like episode order, but I have a friend who argues that the proper order is

  • Ep. 4 A New Hope
  • Ep. 5 The Empire Strikes back
  • Ep. 2 Attack of the Clones
  • Ep. 3 Revenge of the Sith
  • Ep. 6 Return of the Jedi
  • Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
  • Ep. 7 The Force Awakens
  • Solo
  • Ep.8 The Last Jedi
  • Ep. 9 The Rise of Skywalker

He basically says it's Luke's story, so this is the best way to watch it.

Interesting, so one is the only one cut, eh!? 🤔

Yup. It’s the only one that doesn’t really have anything to do with Luke’s story, and everything important is explained in the scroll of Ep 2.

So you're saying episode one is like sand, huh?

Agreed. I like to watch the pod racing, and the Darth Maul fight scene every once in a while, but nevermind the rest.

Yeah, to be honest I do include episode one every time I rewatch them all. But even so, I can't resist making that jibe whenever it comes up 😆.

Oh honestly, I do love it. Love to pick on it, but also love it. ❤️

Why didn't I think of that... I completely wasted my weekend.

I watched the Clone Wars show today. The final season is a must-watch

Ooo I really need to check it out. I've watched a few of the early episodes, but it's never really grabbed me... still, think it could be time to give it another chance. I know there's so much canonical lore included in the show that I'm missing!

It has good and bad parts.

Even in the final season. There were three arcs. The second arc was completely pointless.

I'd recommend watching most, if not all, of the show before watching the final series. I don't think it will hit right if you dont

The Empire Strikes back would have been my answer prior to Rogue One. 😄
