A while back I posted here about Mognota, a real-time multiplayer brain-games platform I built solo with vanilla JS and Firebase. Since then I've kept shipping — wanted to share an update.
What's new
- Added Checkers and Shogi alongside the existing lineup (Chess with a 2v2 four-king variant, LexArena, Anagram Duel, Knowledge Duel, Maze Race) — 7 games total now
- Smoothed out matchmaking so solo players never sit in an empty queue
- A bunch of small UX fixes based on actual player feedback since launch
A quick look
What I'm still working through
Growing this with zero marketing budget has been the hardest part, honestly — way harder than any of the engineering. Building the multiplayer sync logic was more straightforward than getting even a handful of real players to try it.

Would genuinely love feedback — either on the app itself or on how you've tackled distribution for your own solo projects. What worked for you?
