My Hacktoberfest 2026 Journey :- Learning Web Dev and AI

Hi everyone,
I am excited to join Hacktoberfest 2026.This year, my goal is to build my tech skills and learn new technologies.

What I am learning this year:

• HTML and CSS fundamentals to build clean web pages.
• Core Java concepts, arrays, and problem-solving.
• Open-source AI tools and how to use them in web projects.

I am looking forward to participating in the weekly challenges and earning my badges!

Hacktoberfest là thời điểm tuyệt vời để xây dựng thói quen contribute đều đặn thay vì chỉ đẩy code lần mốt. Với web dev + AI, mình gợi ý tập trung vào 3 hướng cụ thể:

1. Documentation & examples — các project AI/ML (Hugging Face, LangChain, Vercel AI SDK...) luôn thiếu ví dụ thực tế cho web dev. Viết guide "How to integrate X model vào Next.js/Remix" giá trị hơn nhiều so với fix typo.

2. Type-safe AI integration — nếu dùng TypeScript, hãy contribute type definitions cho các SDK chưa có types đầy đủ, hoặc thêm Zod schema cho response validation. Điều này giúp cả ecosystem và portfolio của bạn thể hiện được tư duy production-ready.

3. Small, testable PRs — thay vì feature lớn, hãy chia thành: add test case → fix failing test → improve error message → update README. Maintainer dễ review, bạn dễ merge, và GitHub graph xanh đều đặn.

Một tip thực tế: dùng git log --oneline --grep="Hacktoberfest" để xem các PR năm trước được accept theo pattern gì — giúp bạn đoán được maintainer mong đợi gì.
