I recall Polywork had a surge of popularity over a year ago but I don't hear too much about the platform these days. With the slow downfall of Twitter and the hyper-perfectionist expectations of LinkedIn, I personally think it's a great alternative and I'm curious to hear others' thoughts!

I was all aboard the Polywork hype train when it first started. Joined the beta and started a profile and then nothing. Came back to update it some and then nothing. The purpose of the platform got kind of lost for me. I got tons of emails routinely about possible matches for my interests that weren’t really matches and I didn’t see the use case for the platform for me and haven’t posted on it for some time. Not really sure what to use it for. Posting only fits in certain criteria and isn’t as open as a social network usually is.

II do like using it to post #100DaysOfCode updates as I don't want to spam my non TechTwitter friends who follow me there but I check on Polywork profiles for people I follow and they haven't posted in months. My Twitter feed has been all over the place lately and I'm looking for what the next best platform would be & I still think Polywork could be it!
Yep, the users I follow on Polywork post randomly so it’s more of a network to connect with product creators. I had that I was open to test things and that is all the interaction that I got. Not sure if it would be useful for social networking or not. Just doesn’t fit in on one particular niche for me. My random thoughts go to Mastodon, my long form writing goes here. Professional stuff goes to LinkedIn so not sure what to put on Polywork that would serve a purpose to be beneficial.
