What are some "hidden gem" GitHub repositories?

Have you ever been working on a project, found the perfect GitHub library, and then realized the star count was less than humblebrag worthy?

The best code is the code that does the job, so what are some of the best "hidden gem" repos you've ever found?

• GitLab and BitBucket etc count too as long as it's open source :D

• tobyhede/postgresql-event-sourcing: proof of concept for an extremely cool technique with the best database.
• tightenco/giscus: get notifications when someone comments on your Gists -- something GitHub should've done ages ago.
• derekp7/snebu: inactive, but a solid backup management utility.
• sapegin/fledermaus: a super-flexible static site generator.
• vihanb/babel-plugin-wildcard: allows wildcard imports in JavaScript.
• purcell/sqlint: lint your SQL. I do a lot of nonstandard stuff that trips it but it's still an effective "second pair of eyes".
• sjstoelting/pgsql-tweaks: miscellaneous utility functions and views for Postgres.
