When applying to many jobs, rewriting a resume for every job description gets repetitive.
I’m testing a tool that tries to make that easier.
How it works:
- Create a resume or choose a template
- Paste a job description
- Click “AI Tailor” to adjust the resume bullets to better match the role
You can then export the resume as a PDF.

If anyone here is currently applying to jobs, I’d really appreciate honest feedback on a few things:
• Does the rewrite actually improve the bullet points
• Does it feel generic or useful
• Would you use something like this for real applications
Any feedback would be extremely helpful while improving it.

Hi, there, tried your tool and I have a few things to talk about.
First of let me answer your questions;
I would guess that you mean the cover letter re-write, though I could be wrong; The cover letter generation did not work well for me. Some points that were mentioned were not even things that I explained in my job description. Eg. I said I am experienced in Zig/NodeJS/CSS and GoLang, and it wrote in the cover letter; "With my proficiency in UX/UI and experience with tools like Tailwindcss, [...]", which is unfortunately not true (I rarely use tailwindcss).
The idea does not feel too generic and can actually improve peoples cover letters, though there needs to be more unique features. Adding images to the Resumé, being able to modify the colors, moving texts around. Right now we are all using a sort of given template as design (the templates also seem a bit confusing, there should be design templates, no templates for experience because almost nobody shares identical experiences). Furthermore, the PDF exports unfortunately fail; "Failed to export PDF: Error: wrong PNG signature", please take a look into that.
I would, however, there needs to be a lot improved. The AI credits are actually a good idea to get the user hooked, but they should be available in other areas of the application aswell (eg. the Resumé, whether it is the design, or the text). The idea is well, but the execution can be further improved.
I would wish for features such as adding an image to the Resumé, atleast a picture of myself so the company knows what I look like. Also the opportunity to save a Resumé for future editing is something I did not see. Not sure if it is done automatically, though if it is, I would recommend atleast adding a button that says "Save", while still auto-saving stuff. The idea is not bad, it is just not unique yet.
Thanks for the detailed feedback — really appreciate it.
You're right about the cover letter — it shouldn't mention skills you never
listed. We're fixing how the AI handles that. The PDF export error is also on
our radar and being worked on.
On templates — we're still actively iterating on those based on real user
feedback, so your input here is noted and helpful.
Regarding the profile photo — we intentionally leave that out. Including a
photo on a resume can introduce unconscious bias during screening, and in
many regions it's actually recommended against. We want to keep the focus on
your skills and experience.
For features like color customization, an explicit save button, and extending
AI credits to more areas — these are all things we're working toward.
Thanks for taking the time — feedback like this helps us prioritize what
matters most.
Agreed with the unconscious bias, however, the option should still be available, as some people would want to add their image. It is just that the absense of that could lead to less users.
Finally, forgot to mention that, I could not find a way to delete my account. Maybe I am blind, but if it is something you missed, please add that, its legally required (GDPR / CCPA).
Thanks for the feedback!
Profile Photo: You’re absolutely right that the option should be available for those who want it. At the same time, we understand that in many regions photos on resumes or profiles are discouraged because they can introduce bias related to race, gender, age, or appearance before a candidate is evaluated on their qualifications. Because of these concerns, instead of prioritizing this feature right now, we’ve kept it as a lower priority. However, we appreciate the feedback and will keep it in mind as we continue improving the platform.
Account Deletion: Great catch, and thanks for flagging it. We have planned and implemented full account deletion functionality to ensure GDPR and CCPA compliance. It is currently being deployed and should be available soon. You can check your profile settings again in a few hours.
We appreciate you taking the time to share this. It helps us improve.
