We open our laptop.
People trying to sell us something everywhere, on repeat.
So we take our phones, where the same happens.
Some more directly, the best indirectly.
In the middle of our brain fog there is that one thing that could truly change our lives.
We read the caption.
It seems cool.
But our attention span is so short we forget about it.
And the process repeats.
The real problem with this is that the ultimate FOMO, the one that should scare us all, is that we are missing out on a lot of really useful, interesting things, just because we are constantly distracted.
The way out?
Close everything, ask ourselves what is really bothering us.
