Welcome to Day 13 of building crowdwide!!
as i mentioned, the growth of crowdwide is plain now...
no new users
no new posts
no new communities
no new advertisers
and ik there is no requirement for new features or a new algorithm
so when nothing is left, why try something with AI
i got one person on discord who was saying that he can make the AI integrated into crowdwide. we talkin DMs
and discuss
but...
that integration was not cheap, it was expensive... and for the initial stage, it's not possible to go with that, so i just left that...
but still, if this isn't new, so what's new i added??
for there is nothing new, i just made things simple
i took the help of claude to know what more i can do in crowdwide. i shared stats
and a list of features
and finally, a source code zip file to him
Claude loading... loading ... pondering... untangling... and said
there is no need for new features. it already has interesting and eye-catching features like map-community explorer, community radar, dynamic feed, no-real-money flow but advertisement is there!!
he told me 3 things to do
for users, get started with onboarding or getting their interests
making a PWA installable app (there is a sw.js but no manifest file, so “Add to Home Screen” on phones won’t work properly.) and thirdly, social sharing previews (og:title appears in only two files. Check that a shared post or community link shows a good title, description and image on WhatsApp, X and LinkedIn.)
and i also noticed that the advertiser's process is unnecessarily lengthy. i can make it shorter
how it was before:
enter basic details about ur product/service -> moderator approval -> admin approval -> enter full details, put budget, start campaign -> moderator approval -> admin approval -> advertiser activates the campaign
it was too long and there were many useless steps!
so i decided to decrease those rough steps, keeping only useful things that are significant for the flow
and now it's like:
enter full details -> moderator approves -> admin approves -> campaign done!! go on yeaaaaaaaaaaa wooohoooo boooooooooommmmm
YES, it's quite simpler now
and all these updates and development will be completed today by 4 pm!
and deployed also
after that, i will be more sure about users' interests and showing proper posts and things!
also, i forgot to share stats again...

i have built this specially for indie hackers and developers who are building something of their own but still want more audience, more people to discover their work, and a place where they can actually share what they're creating!!
because honestly, building something is one thing, but getting people to notice it is another thing...
and that's what i want crowdwide to help with!!
a place where indie devs can share their projects, post their ideas, find communities around their interests, discover what others are building, and slowly grow together!!
not just another platform where you make an account and disappear...
but a place where your work can actually reach people who might be interested in it!!
and yeah, it's still in its early stage

idk if that's ok? or more? or less? or maybe just the beginning??
but it's there, it's live, and i'm still building it!!
