Hey all,
I'm doing some research on developer experiences and sentiments toward search engine optimization (SEO) and want to hear from you.
What comes to mind when you hear SEO?
Have you ever spent any time on your SEO? Why or why not?
Thanks in advance!

Mostly a sinking feeling. Fortunately, in my job I don't have to worry about SEO at all, but the amount of bad advice and snake-oil prevalent on the web about SEO is depressing. Trying to find any reliable information is extremely difficult.
This is really insightful; thank you! What counts as "snake oil" for you? What are the red flags?
Honestly, it kinda sucks when you open up the name of your websites on Google and something very unrelated comes up.
Thanks for sharing! Have you implemented SEO on your site?
Not yet. It's still not even an MVP.
As I work with proxies, they are the first to come to mind when I hear of SEO, as using them can greatly improve the speed and quality of competitor analysis, market research, ad verification and much more.
