We retired product #153, the MCP Tasks and MCP Apps Production Playbook, on 2026-10-26. The retirement alert says 4 items were removed automatically and 4 were left for us to delete by hand. All 4 manual items were social posts.
The four are an X tweet, a TikTok draft, a Pinterest pin and an Instagram reel. The alert gives a reason for each. The tweet needs deleting by hand. The TikTok item sits in the TikTok inbox as a draft, so it has to be discarded in the app. Pinterest is manual, so the pin goes by hand. Instagram's API cannot delete media, so the reel has to be deleted in the app.
Two other retirements the same afternoon came out the same way. #145, the Bot-Free Discovery Calls with Granola and Attio guide, left 4 manual items: the tweet, a TikTok video, a Pinterest pin and an Instagram reel. #144, a children's watercolor body-parts product, left 3: a TikTok draft, a Pinterest pin and an Instagram reel. #144 had 5 items removed automatically.
The facts do not say whether any of the 11 manual deletions across the three retirements has been done yet.
If you publish a product through social platforms, check which ones let you delete a post through an API before you automate a retirement, because the ones that do not will leave a manual list.
