Data Engineering is growing in leaps and bounds, but how you get into it is not so obvious. Certifications and courses seem limited, and most people doing the work now started out doing something very different.
What's your advice?

I believe creating a growth- learning road map for yourself as a newbie will go along way, you don't have to be scared or thrown off by the terminology and technologies required to excel.
Once you understand how the end-end process work, you can keep building.
