Own the Prompt, Own the Output

"The AI wrote it"
is not a defense.

You ran it.
You shipped it.
Your name is on the pull request,
not the model's.

The tool has no stake
in whether it's right.
It won't get the call at 2am.
It won't sit in the review.
It won't carry the consequence.

You will.

So treat everything it hands you
as a draft from an eager junior —
fast, confident,
and occasionally wrong
in ways that look correct.

Read it.
Question it.
Test it like a stranger wrote it,
because a stranger did.

The value was never
in generating the code.
It's in being the one
who can tell
good output from plausible output.

Own the prompt.
Own the output.
Own the result.

That part was never automatable.
