These and many other questions led us to ๐ฉโ๐จ design Marquee. We intentionally decided to leave options open. As with many other aspects in life, there's no one ๐ฅ home screen to rule them all. Marquee strives to be as functional as it is customizable to make working inside VS Code more productive ๐ฆพ for you. Above all, we want you to take the ๐ driver's seat.

I actually didn't know that you could get a custom home screen on the VSCode home screen lol.
I actually don't see that home screen that often because when I open Code I opened with whatever file I'll be working, like the times when is not an actual code file is the screen of Code's new features or "What's new in this version"
Marquee and Xzibit collaborated to put a homescreen in your homescreen. JK! :-)

Well, Jalal, technically it's one extension away. However, now you know installing Marquee unlocks that for you.
TIL VSCode has a home screen.
