Thinking about creating an organization on DEV.to

I was thinking about it the other day. Maybe we need to pick one topic, something that's doable for everyone in the team, and write about it. But we need to find something really good and exciting.

Also we need to collaborate to make sure everyone (or at least most of us) writes something and everyone's OK with the topic.

I’d say go for it.

But I wouldn’t create an organization just for the sake of having one. I’d build it around something that can grow into a community of its own — a project, an open-source ecosystem, or a technical subject you genuinely want to explore for years.

I’m currently building my own programming language and platform, Zee, and that experience has made me realize how valuable it is to have a place where the project, documentation, experiments, failures, and community can grow together.

So maybe the better question isn’t “Should I create an organization?” but “What would I still enjoy building around two years from now?” 😄

Bahut sochne ke baad ek idea aaya hai:

Just like "What Was Your Win This Week?", we could have a weekly post titled "Ask a Developer: No Question Is Too Basic" (or "Let's Talk Code: Beginners Ask, Developers Answer").

In each week's post, beginners can comment with their questions.

The org members who know the topic can answer those questions either directly in the comments or by creating a separate post under the org as an answer, quoting the person who asked the question.

On DEV, we see many beginners who struggle to make a post to ask a question. This way, they'll get a chance to interact with developers through Q&A! 😀
