An idea hits you, you think about it, write it down, scrap it, rewrite it, and try to tweak it just a little more… that’s literally the daily grind for us. ❤️
Sometimes even a tiny post takes hours to make. You just want whatever you’re feeling inside to actually hit the person watching. When it’s finally ready, you get that genuine grin on your face. You’re sitting there like, “Yeah… I really nailed it this time.”
Then you post it, and the waiting game begins. You’re checking your phone every two minutes—did it get views, any likes, did anyone comment? But when you worked so hard and the views just aren’t showing up, it feels so heavy inside. You don’t say anything out loud, you just set your phone down. But that one thought keeps bugging you—“I put so much love into this, why did nobody watch it?” 🥺
What hurts the most is when you know deep down that you actually did a killer job. You love the post yourself. You’re sure it’s gonna hit people right in the feelings. But when you get radio silence, you stop doubting the post and start doubting yourself. You start thinking, “Am I just bad at this?” “Do people hate my stuff?” Those thoughts mess with your head big time.
And honestly, views DO matter. People can say “views don’t matter” all they want, but when you put your time, energy, and real emotions into something, you want people to see it, get it, and give you some credit. Sometimes a single nice comment is all it takes to give you the push to keep going.
But low views don’t mean your stuff was trash. Sometimes the timing was off, sometimes the algorithm didn't push it to the right people, and sometimes good content just takes a while to catch on. Don't question your whole talent over one post that flopped.
My friend said to me, “Sometimes I genuinely just wanna quit everything. But then a fresh idea pops into my head, and I’m like, alright, let’s build again.” Honestly, that’s the coolest thing about being a creator. You get sad, you get bummed out, you completely break down… but you still get up the next day and try to create something fresh. ✨
So maybe your post didn’t blow up today. Maybe nobody dropped a comment or gave you props. But that doesn’t mean your effort went down the drain. You turned an idea into something real, gave your feelings a voice, and had the guts to share it with the world—that’s huge on its own. ❤️
And one day, when you look back at your old posts, you’ll remember the days when your views were dead low. You’ll remember how gutted you felt, but you still chose not to quit. You’ll probably smile and go, “Man, I’m so glad I didn’t give up back then.”
So if your views are down today, let it sting a bit. You’re human, it’s gonna get to you. Just don’t tie your self-worth to a view count. Views go up and down, but your creativity is yours forever.
Because a creator’s real win isn’t just going viral. The real win is when you get zero views, feel completely crushed, and still look at yourself and say—
“Whatever… come on, let’s make the next one.” ❤️🔥

Sometimes, it’s simply not the right time. But sometimes, it’s just that the audience is smaller — and more engaged.
I’ve written articles that didn’t get many views, but generated a lot of thoughtful comments. And every comment was proof that someone had actually read the article all the way through.

In software we see the same thing all the time. You can spend weeks building something technically beautiful and nobody notices it. Then some tiny thing you made in an afternoon suddenly gets all the attention. 😂
So I stopped treating attention as a quality metric a long time ago.
Build it. Publish it. Learn from it. Then build the next one.
Sometimes the audience arrives late. The important part is making sure there’s something worth finding when they finally arrive. 😉
