Hi everyone! Just got here, but I already feel the good vibes between people in this community :)
I am a junior JS developer currently learning React and Node.js :). Looking forward to get some sweet knowledge from you guys :). I have a master's degree in civil engineering yet changed my career to web development and I couldn't be happier ever since :D. If anyone have questions about tough beginnings feel free to ask.

Hi everyone! My name is Jonas, and I'm a Backend/Machine Learning Developer (current gig is mostly geared towards Neural Networks). I work mostly with Python and C++, and deeply enjoy both. I especially find great fulfillment working at a mid-to-lower level with C++, its nice to feel in tune with the machine :)
Found out about DEV from the Software Engineering Daily podcast. Looking around I see that this is a really awesome community!
I've been learning a lot recently about game programming, and its been my current hobby on weekends and after hours. Pygame was a great place to start at a higher level, and now I'm fooling around with SDL in C. Game programming does seem to be some of the more complicated software engineering out there! Kudos to those developers who build their games from scratch.
Anyway, its great to meet you all! If you're interested in or work with systems/game programming or machine learning, lets chat! :)
Hi guys,
My name is Morten, I am from Norway and I'm currently on the second year of a bachelor in IT and Information systems here.
I heard about this site on the Software Engineering Daily podcast and thought I would check it out.
We learned Python last year, and this year we're starting with Java.
I am enjoying programming a lot, but my issue is that I can't think of any projects to make. I am not very creative, lol.
But I really enjoy solving programming exercises given from school.
Hoping to maybe find some inspiration on this site to make something fun.
Hi! I found this site via the software engineering daily podcast, and thought I'd check it out.
I've used many languages and architectures over the years, but have dove deep into c# this past year. I still love c++ more, especially 17, but c# has also made some great improvements since I first used it in 2006 or so.
Anyway, I love using memory and CPU cycles efficiently, clean and testable code, and learning about machine learning:)

Hello, my name is Karl and I am a Software Architect for a large healthcare organization.
I don't code on a daily basis, but like to tinker whenever I can to keep my skills fresh. C++ is my lingua franka and I dabble with Go, Python, and Javascript. Distributed systems programming and information retrieval are my main area of interest at this time. Looking for any good source of info to aid me along my path.
Thank You!

Hello there!
Natasha here, designer and Java newbie.
I've started to learn Java recently and at the moment I feel lost :) although I must say I'm enjoying this new knowledge influx quite a bit.
I have to be honest and admit that sometimes it can be overwhelming. However, people often say - development is a marathon, not a sprint (OK, no one says that :)) so I will take my time with it.
Live long and prosper!
Hi, welcome to this community. If you need help/advice with Java, just let me know :)
Hi! I'm Steve, a novice front (back) end developer but CSS has been stepping on my spine so I have started learning backend(Node.js and ASP.NET) so as to know what I appeal to the most. I joined dev.to so as to interact and get insights from legendary Devs and novice as well. Already read an article about array functions and now I understand array.some(array functions). I'm hoping to get immense knowledge and mad fun on here. It's good to be here😁
