Hello, there! My name is Lázaro. 21. Brazilian. Graduating Technologist in DevOps. I rarely need to write in English, so forgiven my writing. I am here for an indication of a community college. I love to write about what I am learning as a way to internalize the acknowledgment and help other who thinks as me. So, I am interested in Python script for automation, GNU/Linux, SQL, containerization, cloud computing and DevOps stuff. As you can see, I am a Star Wars fan. I hope to help this community to grow up and reach Brazil community more significantly. See you around!
Welcome!
Hello my name is saad. I'm a web dev student. I like to learn new technology. My native language is French. So actually, I learn English because it's really necessary for me to exchange with the dev's community. Nice to meet you all.
Hello Dev Community! I’m a current WebDev bootcamp student and I’m thrilled to be learning so much new technology, despite feeling like my brain is constant mush.
As a former lurker I’m pushing myself to be active in a coding community. I keep thinking if I call myself a coder, I’ll end up BEING a coder. 😂
Looking for advise on landing that first elusive tech job!
I feel every bit of this 😂 what bootcamp are you in? I'll be starting the Case Western bootcamp in May!
Hi Brittany! I’m nearly done with Fullstack Academy part time WebDev. So grateful!!! I’ve learned SO MUCH and yes it’s freaking hard but I keep on keeping on and have faith my brain is learning even when I don’t feel like I’m retaining anything.
That's such a great outlook to have! Well, I wish you the best of luck in your continued tech journey and we should keep in touch! Us ladies in tech have to stick together lol
Welcome folks!
I strongly encourage you to jump in on a discussion with comment ASAP. Words of encouragement or sharing a personal story are the best thing we can do as a community. It isn't just about creating posts.
Happy coding, thanks for being here!
Hello everyone, I'm Anurag Pathak a Full Stack developer. I am also working on cloud native stuff and a few other CI/CD tools. I also contribute to open-source as an hobby.
You can connect with me on twitter as well twitter.com/AnuragThePathak
Hey I’m Bry! (she/they) I’m super new to programming and I’m working on learning python. I’m starting this as a hobby but I’m hopeful that one day I can transform my skills into something more. I’m currently a life skills building coach. Outside of work I love to spend time with my little family (my partner, cat, and hedgehog), knit, and play video games.
I would love any and all recommendations for resources, tips, or boot camps (that can be completed while also working full time) as I’m really just getting the fundamentals down right now.
Hello, everyone. My name is Rob, and I'm 67. I taught myself how to code ASP pages back in 2000, when I was 45, in order to make my web site (ThreeStooges.net) dynamic instead of continuing to create hundreds of static HTML pages. A couple of years later I taught myself PHP coding and MySQL. I decided to join dev.to in order to learn some new techniques, since I am semi-retired these days and have some time on my hands. :)
Hey everyone. My name is ||hidden||, 25 y.o., I'm here from effector website :D
Currently learning Effector and bringing up my knowledge of React and stuff after some AFK period.
Also have backend experience as well and moving myself to become fullstack web-dev. And also interested in C/C++ (1 year of production experience) and Java. Maybe-maybe.
Have a good day everyone :D!
Hello all! I'm Brittany and I live in the US. I started to dabble in coding almost 10 years ago in community college and graduated with a bachelor's in interactive media design a couple of years ago. Now I'm looking to expand my coding knowledge and become either a front-end or full-stack dev. Aside from coding, I love gaming and ADORE animals.
Hi all! I am the owner and founder of sirinsoftware.com/services/iot-dev... .At the age of 14, I realized that almost all the richest people in the world are entrepreneurs. I wanted to become like them, and I began to actively study the issue: I read, watched videos on how to open my own business. I was looking for the experience of schoolchildren-businessmen, but did not find anything sensible. As a result, until the age of 16, I actively studied entrepreneurship from all its sides and tried to launch small business projects. I studied a lot of online business seminars and met my future partner at one of these events. I was 17, I went to school and lived in Lublin, he was 22, and lived in Warsawa. We had never met at that time, but both wanted to develop in IT. We began to study the market, considered various ideas, including those for implementation abroad.studying at school, even without a secondary education, to do business? It was something incredible for them, there were no such examples around. But in general they were not opposed. There was a condition: if you want to do business, you can do it, but only so that studies and sports do not suffer. My parents still support me in all endeavors.
Friends and peers reacted strangely. Some laughed. And I think that they are just wasting their time: they play computer games, go to some parties in clubs. And I tried to engage in development and almost did not waste time on useless things.
