👋 Hi, I’m @MNDSE, in my previous life, I was a professional translator/ interpreter and project coordinator.

I decided to give up all and go back to college to major in computer science.
Now, I am a frontend developer. Let’s have some fun.

I should probably retract my earlier question about Wolof (Cool name for a language) because I googled it.

Sometimes, when I know I'm one google search away from answer, I ask the question anyway. It feels as a conversation starter.

Do you do that?

Hey Anton,
Wolof is a local language in Senegal. Yeah we all use google but sometimes it is good to start a conversation with whatever seems fun.

I worked with RPG-2 on DOS/VSE machine. Greate language. When I started my job it was 100% Cobol, after I learned RPG-2 instead of making changes to Cobol reports I rewrote it in RPG-2. Long time ago...

Hello all! I have been part of DEV for a fairly long time as a lurker, but really enjoy the content here.

I am a Cloud Architect/DevOps champion, and my development tends to be around automation and infrastructure/security/policy as code. I also like to make sure I don't have to do the same thing twice (wishful thinking!), so I tend to try to automate all the things whenever I can.

Trying to get out of my shell a bit an interact with the community more here. Looking forward to it!

One fun fact about me is that I have been working with Unix (followed by Linux) systems for over 30 years, and I still have just as much fun hacking on things as I did when I started (perhaps more!)

Hey everyone. 👋

My name is Danni & I am currently learning front end web development (html, CSS, JS) from CodeAcademy and DEV was listed as a resource.

I currently work as a controls engineer in the Chicago region, and I am looking to learn web development in my spare time. I believe this will become another hobby of mines as I have always been interested in web design.

A fun fact about myself is that when I was about 14 years old, I started a small company creating custom design jean shorts. It only lasted a couple of months (it was a personal summer project) but I now wish I continued that spirit haha.

Yossss 👋
I am Biplab and I am here to share about everything I learn about Flutter and Android. And learn as well from others.
I also published my very first blog here on Dev. Flutter devs should definitely give it a look and leave some feedbacks so that I can take all the feedbacks under consideration and improve.

Hey!

My name is Gerson, and I am currently learning coding. I am currently learning the main languages used for FrontEnd. Currently taking the CS50W Web Programming with eDX from Harvard. I am investing my time to learn those languages so that I can become a Developer within the next 2 years or maybe less than that.

I started learning Python 2 years ago, but I stopped due to my current job. However, I have now realized that I really like to program so now I am dedicating my time to learn (after work).

Thanks for having me! :D

Shripal Soni

Hi Everyone 👋

I am Shripal Soni from India.

I have been working as a web developer since last 10+ years. Web development is a continuous learning journey and that is why I find it very exciting ✨

I had completed my graduation 🎓 in Instrumentation & Control Engineering but I had passion for programming. So, I learned about web development from various blogs, websites and youtube videos. I am really grateful to the writers of those articles/tutorials/videos due to which many like me could become professional web developers.

I often listen from my friends, family and colleagues that I have good explanation skills. So, I had always a thought that sometime in future I will also dedicate my time to write quality content to help aspiring and experienced web developer in their learning journey. I think that time has now come 🚀

I am now working as an independent full-time content creator in web development field. So, I joined here to connect with as many developers as I can and help them in their learning journey by writing quality articles.

You can know more about me from my website codewithshripal.com.

Let's connect 🙌
