Hello everyone, I'm Rubén, I'm almost a bachelor on computer engineer. I have been programming and learning about the software development world since 2019. The language with which I practice the most is Javascript. As of late though, I've been learning about rust which has been quite a challenge but certainly there's a lot of things you can do and it focuses a lot on safe code, which in itself means good practices; besides I want to take a break from web development and learn about other areas.
The current project I'm working on is a Website for Animal Adoptions. This project is part of my engineering degree project that is required for the completion of the carreer.
I also like to play the piano, also learning to play it by myself (huge fan of chopin's nocturnes) and I'm a huge gamer, my favorite game is the Mass Effect trilogy.

My name is Josue and I'm from the states. I've worked in various industries for a bit before finding a passion for development, specifically, frontend. I've always wanted to either be in a creative field or work close to one (wanted to be an artist growing up and married to an artist) and realized that frontend is the best of both worlds. I've studied topics like color theory so I can design a layout, then build it! (eventually).
I'm currently in the starting stages of my journey and have been blessed with an opportunity to take time off and fully devote to that journey. I've been using Udemy courses, The Odin Project, and the roadmap for frontend developer. Started working with JavaScript and it's a bit overwhelming at the start! My first JS was a humbling process from just pure HTML and CSS.

I am very new to all of this. I've been in the IT field for a couple of years now, working on my bachelor's in Cloud Computing. I'm currently working my way through the Cloud Resume Challenge, AWS flavor which brought me here.
I'm working on learning a few things at the moment, including database fundamentals, a bit of Javascript, Python, and working my way through some core AWS services such as S3, CloudFront, Route 53, and DynamoDB. I'm sure there will be more before I'm finished with this resume challenge though.

Hello fellow newbie DEV community members! I am a self-taught front end React dev who attended Full Sail for a little while before dropping out to focus on becoming better at React and the languages used in it as well as working towards becoming a Full Stack React dev. I gained my initial knowledge through several Udemy courses, which I recommend creating an account and waiting to see their discounts which apply to seemingly every developer related course. The discounts are all around 90%-95% taking some courses down to under $10 USD!! I hope to find some useful articles on here that can improve the performance of my code, and learn more about backend frameworks that pair well with React and the best data storage frameworks. I also hope to specifically learn more about Ruby and AWS as that is what is used where I work. If anyone is reading this and has any good articles about any of those topics, I'd love to read em! Otherwise I wish all you well and good learning!
