Hi everyone! I'm a software engineer based out of Dallas, Texas.

I noticed that I have been clicking through a lot of dev.to articles in my twitter feed and reading threads on the #devdiscuss hashtag, so I thought I would come check it out. I have been blogging as a hobby and trying to write on a regular basis to exercise that muscle.

I am going to try cross-posting a recent article to dev.to -- with canonical url set. As I understand it, that is totally ok these days which is news to me!

It is always a challenge to keep up with everything when you are a technologist, but I would rather have it that way than to be doing the same thing over and over.

I am looking forward to learning more about this community.

Cheers,
Matt

Wow that’s cool! What’s your company called again?

Do you also do investments for sustainable companies? Like ESG?

Hello! I'm Nathan. I hail from San Francisco, California. I am currently a Product Manager at a startup, where I am focused on building a development tool for games.

I grew up programming and designing my own games. I have participated in multiple LD comps, and spent a lot of time with Unity/Unreal. Although an engineer at heart, I found myself attracted to leadership and problem discovery which landed me in Product Management. I just signed up to dev.to, but have been a lurker for a few months. I hope to spend my time here giving back to the community of people just starting out in game development, and potentially guide others in finding their calling if they decide the path of code is not the only thing that gets them out of bed in the morning.

Suggestion about a novel romance in DevOps: The Phoenix Project. Not necessarily a tech/coding book but the story covers the main challenges about DevOps adoption, focusing on and cultural transformation and human aspects.

Hello from Germany! Since 2013 I am working as a freelance Software Architect for various companies within the German public health sector. I focused on secure communication between practitioners and hospitals.

Recently I switched to one of Europe's biggest haulage contractors where the complete ERP system should be migrated to an event sourced solution in the next 5 years.
