Is there a platform that works well with other flows of work? Not everyone on my team is in software, and we're struggling to make our currently solution work well for non-software projects. ClickUp appears to be closer to what i'm looking for, but not by much...
Any suggestions?

Not sure if I got what you are saying but in case you are looking something less complex for project management, I'm using openproject.com with my "clients" and no issues so far, you can keep it as easy or complex you need for your projects
