Which GitHub repository has the most commits?

The answer: Commited

• Commited has over 3,000,000 commits, making it the GitHub, most repo commits, world record holder!

How is that possible?

• git commit takes an argument --allow-empty which allows commits to be made without any changes at all!
• So, after finding this out, I made a Python script that takes user input for the number of commits to make and then starts commiting!
